Amazon Prime Day 2019: The Details for Australia
Amazon Prime Day, the online retailer’s biggest yearly sale this side of Black Friday, is now live on the Australian site, and will run for 48 hours. After that, an additional 17 hours of deals from the U.S. will still be available to Aussie shoppers, ending July 17 at 5:00pm AEST. This means that Australian shoppers will enjoy 65 hours of sales in total, making our Amazon Prime Day event the longest in the world.It’s not as easy as logging on and frantically adding to cart, however. Amazon Prime Day deals will only be available to Amazon Prime members, so if you want in on the bargain bonanza you will need to set up a subscription in advance. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial today which will cover you for the upcoming Amazon Prime Day period, and beyond that you can either subscribe for AUD $6.99 a month or AUD $59 per year. Outside of getting access to Amazon Prime Day deals, Australian Amazon Prime subscribers also enjoy free two-day domestic delivery, free standard international delivery on eligible orders over AUD $49, as well as access to Prime Video, Prime Music, and Prime Reading. A Twitch Prime Membership is also included, which brings with it free monthly PC games and more.Amazon Australia is promising sitewide deals from TVs to toys to everyday essentials over the course of this year's Amazon Prime Day sale, and you can bet there will be plenty of gaming bargains to be found as well.
